Who We Are

Niagara Alliance Church is a part of a group of churches known as the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA), or the 'Alliance' as we've come to call ourselves. The Alliance began as a missionary organization in 1887 and missions is still our focus with more than 800 international workers starting churches and providing relief aide in 81 different countries. Today there are over 2,000 Alliance churches in the US. You can find out more about the Alliance at www.cmalliance.org

Followers

Ultimately, Christians are merely followers of Christ. We aspire to Jesus' teachings and hold to the Bible as our guide in truth. We seek to daily surrender our lives to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This is what is meant by the proclamation, "Jesus is Lord," which seems to have become a cliché but is more than that to us.

A Community of Faith

Niagara Alliance is not just about a weekly service on a Sunday morning. We are a community of believers in Jesus sharing our lives together throughout the week as well. We may offer weekly meetings and various other activities, but these are just the outward signs of life of this "Body of Christ."

Our common faith in Jesus paints the way we "do life together" and is the undercurrent of all our interactions. We share our joys, successes and good times. We also share our hurts, disappointments and failures. Our faith encourages us to trust in God whatever the circumstance.
